We require bats to be certified by USA Baseball for Rookie AA, Minors AAA, and Majors.  Metal and composite bats must have the the USA BASEBALL logo to be permitted for use in baseball games.  For complete details, see the complete USA Bat standard.

 

        



The USA Bat website provides a list of all approved bats. 
When purchasing a new bat for your child, please ensure that it has this logo otherwise it cannot be used in a game.



Note that leagues that use compression balls such as TeeBall and Coach-Pitch (Rookie A) are not subject to this rule.  Any BFP 1.15 rated bat is legal.  However, you may get more years out of the USA BASEBALL bat since it is approved for play in the progressing leagues.
